It's been a while!

Just found my blog again, had completely forgotten about it. I have been doing some crafting but never once thought about posting it. I guess out of site out of mind! Well I'm back and ready to craft! Going to see if I can find some pics of stuff I have done over the past year and start thinking of new ideas.

Green frog diaper cake!

Made a diaper cake for my sister-in-laws baby shower. Thought it came out cute but I even knitted a hat to attach. Now that is an accomplishment!!!

My daughters 2nd birthday!

For my daughters 2nd birthday we decided on a shoe theme because she already has a shoe obsession. Here are some the pictures of the shoe party!

My mom and I made the shoe sugar cookies. It was so much fun and they even tasted soooo good!

My husband made the cake. He made an orange dream cake but tinted it pink. Then made a shoe to go on top! Loved it!!!!

Been gone for awhile but have lots of pics to post!!!

The last year was crazy, but I am back and ready to craft and be creative!
The next few posts will be crafts that I have created over the last year but just have not had time to post and write about. Hope it is enjoyed by all!!!!!

Car Decals

So I decided to be like a lot of other moms and add the sticker family to my car. I really wanted the Disney ones with the Mickey ears but refused to pay full price for them. So I made my own! Here is how they turned out.

I love how they turned out. I love that I can customize them how ever I want. Next time I might try to make them a little smaller.They were so big I could not put them on my back window because of the wiper. So I had to settle for the side window. I then had to come up with something for the back window. Tried to keep it simple!!!



Knitting

So I have decided to take a knitting class. This is going to be more for the fun if it than anything else. I figure if I learn something great other wise I just had fun with some friends. Will post more about what I have learned once the class starts in June.

String Easter Eggs

So I got the idea for these from a valentines craft my son and I did. I think they might be to round to really look like eggs. Will have to try to make them more egg like next time. I also want to be more aware of a bottom so they have way to stand up on their own. I do think they turned out cute and can't wait to make more just a little bit more perfect. Now what to do with them?
